XBR-three letters from Sony that represents higher-end models, three letters from Sony that represents expensive models. While they deliver a plenty of features they can’t beat best Plasma TVS, LED backlight LCD’s or Samsung’s edge-lit LED models when it comes to picture quality. Sony KDL-46XBR9 has a refresh rate of 240Hz witch is twice as fast as the 120Hz refresh rate making this way fast action scenes and sports more enjoyable, a dynamic contrast 100,000:1 ratio and of course FULL HD 1080p resolution.

The first thing about this LCD TV: expensive, but this is what we expect from a XBR high-end model from Sony. They are trying to explain the high price by superior design and powerful performance: FULL 1080p high definition resolution, a dynamic contrast 100,000:1 ratio and Motionflow 240Hz technology so that you could enjoy action scenes from movies or sports.

The first in its series, this LCD TV it’s fit for a bedroom or an office. XBR-three letters, representing higher-end features and top-of-the-line picture quality are meant to blow you away. This 32 inch model is the only one from its series that has 120Hz refresh rate as opposed to the 240Hz rate used on the larger sets. Using a resolution of 1080p and a 40,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, this LCD TV excels on many levels but it isn’t what we were expecting from a Sony high-end model.
