This is a very good HD TV for the viewing, but there is a problem that Toshiba has admitted it is having with this model, as I have found out myself and many moare are finding out as well. The problem is with HDMI inputs cirquitry boards recieving the digital signal that is causing noise and echo sounds through the speakers. I bought this HD TV back in August of 2009, when Toshiba knew of this problem and still continues to market them as a problem free Top of the LINE TV. To date 3/2/2010 they have not found what started or caused this and are said to be working on a remedy for this. Thier solution for now is to use the component cable system, but you will not be getting the full useage of the 1080p properties of the set. Another solution, from Toshiba, to stop the noise symptom, is to switch the HDMI in use on the TV screen, to and from, and this will clear it up and give you clear sound again until it starts to happen again. Toshiba has not said when they think a fix will be available.

This television has an amazing design. People will be satisfied with the quality of picture. The silver and black design is also available in the remote. Price-wise, its very cheap. Performance could have been better. Overall it is good, worth buying.
